Research
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, advised by Prof. M. Salman Asif. My research lies at the intersection of computational imaging, inverse problems, and machine learning, with a focus on recovering high-dimensional signals from incomplete, noisy, or limited measurements.
I am particularly interested in robust and reliable visual sensing. My work explores how physics-based structure, optimization, machine learning, and data-driven models can be integrated with classical algorithms to design computational imaging systems that remain accurate and reliable under real-world measurement constraints.
I have also had the opportunity to work on industry-facing research problems through internships at Apple and Meta Reality Labs. In Summer 2024, I worked with Apple’s Camera and Photos team on computational imaging for next-generation camera systems. In Summer 2025 and Summer 2026, I worked as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta Reality Labs on image and video restoration methods for emerging visual and wearable devices.
